Let’s talk about our ROOF CLEANING process. This process is an application of our solution designed to attack the organic growth on the roof of your home. The black streaks that are found on your roof are called Gloeocapsa Magma. Over time, Gloeocapsa Magma feeds on the limestone in shingles decreasing the roof’s ability to reflect sunlight. Gloeocapsa Magma is an airborne algae and can quickly spread to other roofs in a neighborhood.

Another common problem we see on roofs is moss. Moss grows where moisture and shade exist. Moss is terrible for your roof and needs to be addressed immediately. The root system of moss penetrates the layer of shingles and causes the shingles to lift. This can cause a leak in the roof and lead to substantial water damage inside the home.

Never allow anyone to use a pressure washer on your roof. It will damage the shingles beyond repair and the roof will need to be replaced shortly after.
